Vermiculite has a laminar structure that provides excellent cation exchange properties, helping growing media hold on to soluble nutrients.

Total Water-holding Capacity: Â
Fine = 419ml water per litre of Vermiculite. Medium = 381ml/ltr.
Uses: Aids aeration, improves water holding capacity and speeds up germination times. Can also be used on it’s own to cover seeds once sown.
Application Rate:Â Mix up to 50% Vermiculite (by volume) with the growing media.
